Dear Ed:  As I commence with the next phase of the career transition you helped me engineer, I wanted to let you know how well things have worked out and to formally express my gratitude for your guidance.

You may recall that when I retained your services in mid 2008, I was very uncertain of the timing for the revenue phase launch of my new solar energy venture, Eos Energy. I was reluctant to not see it to the potential I envisioned, but I was, at that time, quite uncomfortable entering a second year of zero revenues.

It is your guidance that facilitated the two track solution that has worked out exceptionally well. Since December, I have served as the Director of Facilities and Sustainability at Project H.D.M.E., while continuing to build the project pipeline and operational infrastructure for Eos Energy. As you had suggested, working with the extraordinary people at Project H.D.M.E. has been a life-changing experience. And, of course, it allowed me the flexibility to keep Eos moving forward until the long-awaited state solar subsidies were ready to launch. We are now at the point!

The two track plan allowed me to pay few of my personal bills and to contribute something meaningful to our community, while at the same time building a market-dominant solar services firm. I am leaving Project H.D.M.E. shortly to assume full time leadership over the staff of seven I have recruited for Eos.

I feel as though I have navigated a dark tunnel, with your help, and I am now about to emerge into a very sunny situation (corny pun intended!)

Thank you for your patient and insightful guidance, and for your friendship.

Warm Regards,
Andrew J. Kleeman
